The Holistic Approach to Nutrition - XANGO, MonaVie and BAZI

There are many definitions and philosophies as to what is meant by Holistic Healh and Wellness. I believe the definition adopted by the American Holistic Health Association (see side bar) integrates into our lives a balance approach we could all benefit from.

It is the balancing of our desire for convenience with need for wellness-oriented lifestyle that has sometimes been a problem. How often is the diet of whole organic foods scarified for the ease of grabbing a salad at the clearly non-organic fast food establishment? How often do we give our family a "manufactured" multi-vitamin instead of supplying them with nutritious food.

The excuse "it is more convenient" to give your family a synthetic multi-vitamin to ensure their daily requirements is gone. Over the last couple of years the nutritional drink industry has served up a number of health drinks based on exoctic fruits and berries.

The top four industry contenders are XANGO (Mangosteen Fruit); Monavie (Acai Berry); Goji Juice (Goji Berry) and the newest entry into the field - BAZI (Jujube Juice, Mangosteen Fruit, Acai Berry, Seabuckthorn Berry, Blueberry, Pomegranate, and Raspberry).

Each of these contenders have based their product on nutritionally dense fruits and/or berries for which they have a significant amount of anecdotal and scientific based evidence. They each give a detailed description how they discovered the exotic fruit in a remote location of the world. It all sounds quite enticing until you are confronted with the decision of which exotic fruit do I select. After all they all claim that they and they alone have THE FRUIT or BERRY that will enhance your health and well-being.

The one exception in this group is BAZI. While BAZI touts that is has the Jujube Fruit (no not the gummy candies - see jujube fruit ) from the Shandong Provence in China, but they have included ALL the fruits and berries that are in the other nutritional drinks. While XANGO can claim the Mangosteen Fruit, so can BAZI.

BAZI is a Chinese word that translates literally as “Eight Characters". The name is based on the eight super fruits and berries that make up this drink. Bazi is a powerful, concentrated, antioxidant nutritional drink that gives you all the vitamin and minerals you need in a single, convenient, one-ounce shot. (see BAZI).

The other unique claim that BAZI makes is within 30 minutes of taking BAZI you will get a "calm surge of energy". Well what exactly is a "calm surge of energy? We had to find out. We sampled BAZI and we think the better way to describe the effect is "non-nervous energy" unlike what you get by drinking a caffeine laced drink. We found BAZI to be a good tasting drink that is habit forming. We found ourselves hanging around the office refrigerator when it was about time for the next shot of BAZI.

We take nothing away from the other nutritional drinks (XANGO, Goji, or MonaVie), however the reality is why would you take a drink with a single fruit when you can take BAZI and have them all. The others are like taking a single class of vitamins (eg, vitamin c) and BAZI is like taking a multi-vitamin.

Unless your a distributor for the other products, there is no reason. For all others try BAZI. In fact they make it easy to remember this go to TRY BAZI or www.trybazi.co to see for yourself.

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD HEALTH
